850/V70 front door window replacement

1. Carefully pry the mirror triangle cover off. 2. Remove the door panel. 3. Remove the window regulator clips and brackets from the glass. 4. If replacing broken glass, carefully clean the weatherstrip channels from debris. 5. Insert new glass from outside with front corner first into the weatherstrip. 6. Rotate glass more level and ensure rear end goes into channel. 7. Move the window regulator to the right position, press in place, and install clips. 8. Test up and down a couple of times.

Be careful when removing clips from the window regulator brackets — the regulator can bend easily onto the track, causing the glass to not stay in place when raising. You don't need to remove the entire regulator just to replace the glass.
