1. Slide the front marker light outward by hand. 2. With a long flat-head screwdriver between the marker and light — wedge the screwdriver between the spring and panel, tap with palm so spring releases. 3. Behind the marker light in the front plastic is a hole. 4. Bend a long flat-head screwdriver 90 degrees for about 2 cm at the tip. 5. Push the bent screwdriver through the hole behind the marker light spring straight toward the car and turn the lock release lever. 6. Repeat on the other side if needed.

The marker light costs less than 20 € at Motonetin, so even if it breaks, the loss is minimal. Usually it comes out intact.
