How is the replacement done?
The head must be removed, because the piston/crankshaft assembly comes out only from the top. Disassemble and assemble on a bench. A piston ring compressor from Biltema works well. The oil pan can be removed by disconnecting the power steering pump tube brackets.
What should be noted?
Not everyone has had to chamfer the cylinders with the new crankshafts — first try that the piston/crankshaft assembly fits and rotates. If needed, bend the auxiliary frame's unnecessary bracket to the side to ease oil pan removal.
