3 inch intake manifold — moving standard to larger housing

Larger -012 MAFs (air mass meters) are becoming hard to find. However, the electronics from the standard -016 meter can be moved to a 3 inch housing (e.g. KL-Racing product).

1. Remove 4 visible screws. 2. Tap a screwdriver into the other side gap — hidden are 3 screws that will break. 3. You can do the same on the other side or twist the electronics out of the pipe. 4. Cut off the remaining screws.

1. File grooves in the KL housing for the MAF electronics (they are not pre-made). 2. The other side screws directly. For the other side, drill holes on the side for fastening. 3. Press with a clamp onto the seal. If desired, you can use silicone as additional sealant. 4. Fuel mixture adjustment after tuning.
