Front strut swivel bearing lubrication

The swivel bearing is a bearing at the top of the suspension strut, bolted from the engine side. It allows the strut to turn with the steering.

1. Carefully pry the bearing halves apart with a screwdriver — feel for the right spot. 2. Be careful the bearing balls do not fall to the floor. 3. Clean the old dried vaseline. 4. Add new vaseline generously — so much that when the halves are put together the vaseline bulges out from the gap. 5. Assemble the bearing and install back.
