V70 II cargo area shade repair

The spring inside the shade tube has likely come loose from the plastic end cap and lost its tension.

1. Buy snap clips (5 mm axle, 2 pcs on the ends of the roller shade). 2. Remove the snap clips and end caps. 3. Remove the white plastic pieces at the end of the shade tube (fold the tube ridges inward). 4. Press the loose spring back in place while turning. 5. Wind tension into the spring about 8–10 turns, locking the end cap claw between turns. 6. Reassemble — remember to place the protective sheet between the end caps before installation. Takes about 30 minutes.
