Why does a P2 Volvo window tilt forward when lowered?
The cause is likely the window regulator's butterfly slider pad, which is about a 4 euro plastic part. When the pad breaks, the front edge of the glass lowers normally but the rear edge stays in place.
How is the repair done?
Remove the door trim to access the window regulator mechanism. Replace both slider pads at the same time. Easy job once you know what to look for.
