M56 manual transmission oil change

Supplies: Volvo manual transmission fluid 3 liters (part number 1161645), drain plugs (part number 11998, 2 pcs), 1 m of tubing, rags, 24 mm wrench and 24 mm socket + ratchet. 1. Lift the car level. 2. Open the fill plug first (24 mm, upper) — if it won't open, you don't want oil on the ground already. 3. Open the drain plug (24 mm, lower), drain the fluid. 4. Install the drain plug with a new seal (don't overtighten — aluminum case). 5. Pour new fluid in through the fill hole until it overflows. The case takes about 2.1 liters.
