Bixenon/BiLED projector installation in P2 halogen headlights

Materials: Replacement headlights (modification is not officially street legal) Dremel with cutting disc and grinding wheel Hair dryer or hot air blower 2.5" projectors (approximately 140 mm from lens face to screw stud base) Decorative ring for projector Clear, non-grooved glass Sealant (e.g., Biltema Multibond Rapid) Electrical tape, heat shrink tubing, soldering iron and solder

P2 pre-facelift halogen headlights are opened by heating: 1. Remove bumper and headlights. 2. Remove all bulbs and the upper trim of the headlight. 3. Heat the headlight adhesive with a hot air blower or hair dryer. 4. Separate the lens with a plastic removal tool. Note: facelift headlights are glued very tightly and cannot be opened by heating — requires cutting the lens plastic.
